Rather than turning away from our wisdom and past experience, we learn not to rely solely on them. When old ways of making sense of complexity no longer serve us, we hold both our accumulated wisdom and new ways of seeing. Instead of getting trapped in either-or dilemmas that demand sacrifice, the pivot opens us to both-and possibilities where we can thrive professionally and personally, follow our spiritual path, and stay connected with loved ones.
